Mobile devices are being used more and more these days. Most popular mobile devices do not support flash and thus are forced to view a heavily crippled version of a flash website on their browser. HTML sites offer the flexibility to let the user decide whether they want a mobile friendly version or the full website, including the frontpage slideshow.
